Local Community

For people living and earning in Portugal

  • 6 classes per month (≈ €7.50 each)

  • Community classes, taught in Portuguese or by a Portuguese-speaking instructor.

Open to everyone. The full studio experience.

  • 8 classes per month (≈ €12.50 each)

  • Access to any class on the schedule

  • 1 per month, for any class

  • 1 free per quarter, 15% off additional ones

  • Free, Wednesdays 10am–6pm

  • Workshops and retreats, before public release

  • 15% off events, readings, rentals and extra classes

Which one is for me?

If you live and work in Portugal on a local wage, apply for the Local Community rate. If not, or if you want the full schedule, co-working, and workshops, choose the Studio Membership.

Why Two Rates?

Asha's Place is rooted in Portugal. The Local Community rate keeps movement and community within reach for the people who live and work here. The Studio Membership carries the full offering and helps sustain the space for everyone.

  • We review every application and may ask a few questions.

  • Community classes are marked in the schedule and in the booking app.

  • Spots are limited. When we reach capacity, we open a waitlist.

  • Other classes are open to you at the drop-in rate, with 15% off.

  • If your situation changes, tell us, and we'll move you to the standard rate at your next billing date.

❋ Studio Membership details

  • The free quarterly workshop applies to studio-hosted workshops. Guest-led workshops and ticketed events may be excluded, and we'll say so when we announce them.

  • Priority registration means you hear first and get a short window to book. It doesn't guarantee a place.

  • Co-working is first come, first served and may pause for private events or retreats.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Credits activate on the day you join and renew on the same date each month.

    • They're valid for one month. Unused credits expire and don't carry over.

    • Booking closes 2 hours before class. Cancel at least 6 hours before and your credit returns.

  • Yes. Once every 12 months, for one billing cycle. It's free. Email us at least 7 days before your payment date, and your billing date will move forward.

  • Email us at least 7 days before your next billing date. Your credits stay available until the end of the cycle you've paid for.

  • Get in touch. We review extensions or a freeze case by case.

  • No. Memberships are personal, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

  • Apply and tell us about your situation. We'll take it from there.
